任侠道

任侠道

Ninkyo(do) is a philosophy that values humanity, justice, and duty and that forbids one from watching others suffer or be troubled without doing anything about it. Believers of “the way” are expected to put their own lives on the line and sacrifice themselves to help the weak and the troubled.

「任侠道とは人情、正義、義理を重んじ、人が苦しんでいたり困っていたりしているのを黙って見て何もしないのを許さないという哲学である。任侠道に生きる者は弱い者や困っている人を助けるため命を懸け、自分の身を犠牲にすることが求められているのである」
